My name is Timothy Panuelos and I am a third-year mechanical engineering student from McMaster University. I am eager to apply my engineering skills to solve real world problems. I’m currently a teaching assistant at McMaster for their new ENGINEER-1P13 course which combines the first year engineer disciplines of programming, design, materials, and professions. I am extremely confident in my CAD skills which led me to success in numerous projects, these skills were further developed through teaching first year students CAD practices. As you can also see from my projects page, I make a lot of CAD drawings on AUTODESK Inventor and Solidworks. I have a great interest in cars which led me to join McMaster’s SAE Baja team where I am a member of the CONTROLS sub-team, responsible for the Baja car’s steering and breaking systems. I also have experience in machining, mainly with the mill and some on the lathe. I have a strong grasp of mechanical and material engineering principles ingrained in me from my professors. I am very comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite as well as writing different engineering documents such as progress reports, memos, and letters.

My interests and hobbies go all over the place. I am avid rock climber and love to go bouldering at my local climbing gym. I like to keep myself fit with different sports such as playing badminton, volleyball, and basketball with friends. I also love all types of music and dedicate a lot of my time just relaxing to my countless playlists. Related to my love of music I also play guitar and drums to keep myself busy when I get bored.
